There are pet owners, and then there are pet lovers. We are proud pet lovers. And we don’t just love animals, we understand them.

Two Bowls was born out of our love for furry friends and our (sometimes frustrating) experiences of being pet lovers in Shanghai.

We know that life in this dynamic city means a busy schedule for many, and more often than not, our beloved pet(s) go by their own schedules too.

That’s why we’re here. Because we’ve been there. We provide services that help make life easier and quite simply, more enjoyable for you and your pet(s).

Wassup Doc?

The term “sick as a dog” really did originate from dogs around the 17th century, who, not unlike us Shanghai dwellers, sometimes got violently ill from eating the wrong things.

It is never pleasant, nor convenient when your pets do get under the weather. Finding a cab that will take them to the vet, the crowded waiting room with other distressed pets and their parents, the possibility of contagious diseases from other pet patients, the trauma of being in a foreign and stressful environment… we know.

Our house-call vet can provide the attention your pet deserves, in the comfort of his/her home. Being in your pet’s living environment will also help us understand his/ her needs and help us make the best medical recommendations – without costing you an arm and leg!

We provide a full service practice for dogs and cats, complete with:

• preventative medical treament and consultation;
• routine check-ups;
• surgical procedures;
• laboratory analysis, and the full range of medical diagnostics.

We will adjust our schedule for emergencies, and call you if we know we are going to be 15 minutes late if ever such urgent cases do happen to other pet friends before your appointment!

Walk & Play

Regular walks and playtime are an important part of your pet’s holistic health regime. Our Professional Dog Walkers can help you keep your dog on track in maintaining a healthy body and mind!

We’ll pick up after your dog, clean his paws and quench his thirst with fresh water and a nice ol’ rub down plus a feed too if need be.

No two dogs are the same, so the length and pace of each walk can be tailored to meet your dog’s specific exercise needs, whether it’s a stroll, a brisk walk or a light jog!

Shanghai road and human traffic is also one of its kind, which is why our professional Dog Walkers support safe and responsible walking. We are committed only individual walks on leads with utmost vigilance and awareness, especially around other dogs and children.

Home Alone

Looking for a vacation away from the craziness of Shanghai but can’t bear to leave your beloved pet behind while you unwind?

Doggie Academy

So we all love our dogs for their unique quirkiness… but sometimes things… can get out of hand. Now that you’re a doggie parent, you do have to agree that a little discipline is always good for building character and spirit.

No idea how to dish out some tough love? Our Professional Dog Trainers can tailor programmes based on your requests, carried out with consideration to your dog’s habits and temperament.
